My Own Personal Color Challenge

I created a color challenge for myself a few months back on my personal art page on Facebook. I asked for 3 people to comment on "this post" with their favorite color & in return I would mail them a card. It happened to be 3 of my friends and they each chose a different color. I challenged myself to think outside of the box a little bit and use supplies I wouldn't typically use.

Each card was left to where they could send this card on to someone they love. I put my note in there temporarily so it was functional to them & included a blank envelope.

The squares used on the green card were plain white chipboard squares that I got in my Mystery Box last year at Simon Says Stamp. I used my Letraset Tria markers to spruce them up into some fun elements to use on the card.

The Blue card has a fun shaped card with a cool textured embossed layer, ribbon, dimensional die cut sentiment with the peaceful owl.

The Purple Card is my absolute favorite, and the felt heart and striped paper really helped bring it to life. Its the most similar to my everyday cards. The sentiment came from one of the card kits from Simon Says Stamp this summer.

I think they all loved them so much that they weren't going to send them on to anyone but either way, it was fun for me! #sharehandmadekindness
